Will the COVID-19 vaccine be a required immunization?
Like many colleges and universities at this time, George Mason University is considering the question of whether to require the COVID vaccines for the fall. When the decision is made, the university will send an announcement, and Student Health Services will provide more detailed instructions for students.
We encourage you to obtain a safe, effective COVID vaccine when it is available to you, including taking advantage of opportunities at Mason. We also encourage you to seek out reliable sources of information, including your health care provider, if you have questions.
Please maintain records of your immunization in case this is required of the university. Our current immunization policy can be found here: Immunization Policy | University Policy | George Mason University (gmu.edu)
