One of the best ways to protect yourself, your loved ones, and our Mason community is to get your flu shot each year. Student Health Services offers flu shots for students by appointment. Available seasonally, while supplies last.

Flu Shot Cost

$30 Students. Pay fees online through the Mason Marketplace.

Students with the university Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan can get their flu shot for FREE at any Student Health Services clinic; your insurance covers the cost of the flu vaccination at an in-network provider.

Students with other health insurance: contact your health insurance provider before getting your flu shot with Student Health Services. We do not bill health insurance. Students self-pay, then can submit a statement to their insurance plan. Statements available in the Patient Portal. Student Health cannot guarantee coverage or payment by your insurance company.

Where can I get a flu vaccine locally?

Flu vaccines are offered in many doctor’s offices, clinics, health departments, and pharmacies. Flu vaccination is generally a covered service (no cost to you) with most health insurance plans when you get your vaccine with an in-network provider (Dept. of Health and Human Services).
