Flu Shot Cost
I have the university Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan
Students with the Mason Student Health Insurance Plan can get their flu shot for free at any Student Health Services clinic; your insurance covers the cost of the flu vaccination at an in-network provider.
I have another health insurance plan
$30 for students with Student Health Services. Student Health Services does not bill health insurance. Students can self-pay then submit their statement to their health insurance plan. Statements are available in the Patient Portal. Student Health cannot guarantee coverage or payment by your insurance company. Pay fees online through the Mason Marketplace.
Students should contact their health insurance provider to ensure coverage before getting their flu shot at one of the on-campus clinics. Flu vaccination is generally no-cost with most health insurance plans when you get your vaccine with an in-network provider (Dept. of Health and Human Services). Visit vaccines.gov to find a provider near you.
