I am isolating/quarantining, how can I seek help navigating available support resources?
Students who are in quarantine or isolation (either on- or off-campus) and need help navigating available support resources (including well-being, mental health, or academic support), can complete the COVID-19 Quarantine/Isolation Self-Referral Form on the Student Support and Advocacy Center website, visit https://ssac.gmu.edu/support-request-and-referrals/, select “Forms” from the navigation menu. A staff member will contact you.
During the pandemic, being in quarantine or isolation can cause people to experience many different thoughts or emotions. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will offer a virtual support space for students in quarantine or isolation every Thursday at 12 noon. You can just ‘drop-in,’ no registration is needed. Visit https://caps.gmu.edu/virtual-mental-health-workshops/ and open “Virtual Mental Health Workshop Link” to access the support spaces.
