I purchased OTC COVID-19 tests. How can I submit to Aetna Student Health for reimbursement?
Enrolled students should save their receipts for eligible over-the-counter (OTC) COVID-19 tests purchased on or after January 15, 2022. To submit for reimbursement, visit the Aetna Student Health’s secure member website and follow the instructions there.
At this time, members will be reimbursed for the actual cost of the test. Aetna Student Health is reimbursing for each individual test. So, if two tests come in one box, Aetna Student Health will reimburse a member for each test.
Students can also get free tests through covid.gov. These government provided tests do not count towards the minimum benefit per member.
