Thank you Parent’s Fund!

Student Health Services and the Supporting Students in Quarantine and Isolation Working Group would like to express gratitude to the George Mason University Parent’s Fund.

With their support, residential students who are in isolation or quarantine at the Ángel Cabrera Global Center are able to have on-demand access to hot water beyond their current meal deliveries. Electric tea kettles were purchased and supplied to Housing and Residence Life for this purpose. Residential students going into isolation or quarantine should discuss this option with Housing and Residence Life staff.

Holding a cup of hot tea, sipping hot soup while studying…these little moments matter. Providing students in isolation or quarantine with easier access to hot liquids will help them feel better physically and more supported emotionally. Thank you for making those little moments possible.
