Student Health Services offers routine annual women’s health examinations.
The Annual Women's Health Exam may include:
- Individual, private consultation with healthcare provider
- Annual gynecological health exam including breast & pelvic examination
- Pap test when indicated
- Gonorrhea/Chlamydia screen
- HIV/Syphilis test
- HPV/ DNA
- Fees vary at each clinic
For women 30 years of age and older, the recomendation is to have the HPV/DNA test in addtion to the standard Pap test. The fee includes both the Pap and HPV/DNA.
Other services offered include:
- screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- contraception counseling including abstinence support education
- emergency contraception
- pregnancy testing and counseling
- evaluation and treatment of menstrual irregularities
- other problems and concerns related to women’s health
The Women's Health Education Program is recommended if you are:
- Having your first gynecological exam
- Interested in prescription birth control for the first time
- Looking for women’s health information
- Screening for STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections)
- Evaluation and treatment of gynecological issues

- Ortho Evra Patch
- NuvaRing
- Seasonale
- Barrier Methods

Failure to keep a Women's Health appointment, or give a 24-hour cancellation notice, will result in a $10 missed-appointment fee.
