This service helps to prepare travelers for a safe trip by providing travel safety tips, as well as prescriptions and immunizations needed for disease prevention.
Complete the pre-travel assessment form before your Travel Clinic appointment.
The Travel Clinic is available to students, faculty, and staff by appointment only.
Appointments should be made approximately four to six weeks prior to departure, especially if traveling to a developing country.
Please bring COMPLETED pre-travel assessment form to your Travel Clinic appointment.
You may need one or more of the following immunizations:
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR) vaccine
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis) vaccine
- Meningococcal vaccine
- Varicella (chicken pox vaccine)
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis A
- Malaria (oral medication)
Possibly required, but not available at SHS:
- Yellow Fever vaccine
- Poliovirus vaccine
