Eligibility Requirements
  • All Domestic Undergraduate and Graduate students enrolled in 6 credit hours or more, per semester, are eligible to sign-up.
  • Students that are taking less than 6 credit hours but are completing course work to graduate and obtain their degree for the current academic year are also eligible to enroll.
  • Doctoral students should contact the Insurance Office to check eligibility.
  • If you withdraw from George Mason University within the first 31 calendar days of the semester, you are not considered eligible for the student insurance plan.
